Democrats can’t read.

Oh, I don’t mean they’re illiterate. Just saying they’re no good at reading a room or making out the handwriting on the wall.

This has nothing to do with whether Joe Biden will or won’t, or whether other Democrats think he should or shouldn’t. The reading problem runs far deeper than that.

Biden ran four years ago offering stability and promising a return to normalcy after the four chaotic years of Donald Trump’s presidency. He touted his many years of experience working across party lines, going so far as to claim he had what it takes to unite the country. Talk about not reading the room.

Keeping things calm and steady and normal is what most Democratic voters yearn for these days. Problem is, the times we live in are anything but normal and are the exact opposite of calm.
