I just finished reading a book (fiction) that taught me so much, I think your desire to write a fiction book that will teach us a lesson is very appropriate!!!
Don't you think that perhaps the development of so-called "reality tv" started this whole phenomenon? People think it's reality, it's even in the name. However. It's all staged. Have you read some of the comments about the making of The Apprentice" from the producers of that show? At least when you read fiction, it says so on the book.

Could very well be. Even if it didn't start the phenomenon, it's definitely part of it.
